Half of world’s locked-down pupils lack computer: UN
Half of the world’s university and university learners afflicted by class closures because of the coronavirus outbreak—from pre-major to university level—do not have access to a personal computer for residence-schooling, the UN’s instructional agency reported Tuesday.
Highlighting “startling electronic divides” amongst the wealthy and poor, a UNESCO statement additional that forty three percent of young people have no access to world wide web at residence.
