They specialize in distinct science, technological know-how, engineering and maths (STEM) subjects but all have one particular point in common—they’re all STEM superstars.


Associate Professor Kim-Anh Le Cao, astrophysicist Clare Kenyon, Dr. Kylie Soanes, Dr. Maria del Mar Quiroga and Priyanka Pillai have been named Australia’s formal Superstars of STEM by Science and Engineering Australia.

The 5 University of Melbourne teachers are component of a 60-potent team of outstanding women in science, technology, engineering and arithmetic who want to move into the spotlight as media stars and have been chosen for the nationwide plan to give women of all ages in STEM stronger abilities and self esteem to have professional commentary roles in the media.
