GMAT – An Entry Ticket to MBA

GMAT stands for Graduate Management Admission Test. The test contents are: Analytical Writing Assessment (AWA), Integrated Reasoning (IR), Quantitative Aptitude (QA) and Verbal Reasoning (VR). The total test is gauge on scale of 200-800. The secured is the average score of quant and verbal out of 800. However the IR section score is measured on a scale of 1-8 and AWA score is measured on a scale of 0-6.

Eligibility Criteria for GMAT Test

GMAT- The Test Day Requirements

On the GMAT test day, the test administrators may ask the candidates to represent identification card for their personal verification. The acceptable IDs are:

  • Passport
  • Driver’s License
  • National/ state/ provincial ID cards
  • Military ID cards

Note: A passport is mandatory if the test centre is outside your country of origin. In some cases, your passport might be the only acceptable ID even if you are a taking the test in your own country domain.

The following documents are NOT acceptable as proof of your identity for GMAT tests:

Temporary-issue IDs such as Passport cards or acknowledgements
Social security cards
Photocopies of documents
Letters from your university or college
IDs with physical descriptions instead of photos
Expired IDs
Employee or student IDs
Draft classification cards
Credit cards
