LPU NEST 2022 Application form has been released for the April session. Lovely Professional University conducts the National Eligibility and Scholarship Test for various courses. The participants are 12th class children. Courses for which NEST is offered are Engineering, Management, PhD, Design, Law, Agriculture, Graduation, Post-graduation, etc. This article basically focuses on the B.Tech program. Every year, LPU takes this initiative to distribute scholarships among eligible students. Thus, the eligible and willing candidates must fill the LPU NEST 2022. University believes that money should not be an obstacle to access quality education. That is why it gives scholarships to eligible students from different courses.

The amount of scholarship depends on the fee of the programme, date of admission and performance of the student in LPUNEST. Thus, it acts as a gateway for all the engineering courses. LPU will conduct the test online. The communication by the University will be done only through email and SMS. There are different phases in which the scholarship exams are held. LPU NEST Important Dates 2022

Dates are helpful for the students to analyze and make preparation for the exam. Thus, those who are willing to take the test must keep the dates given below.

Note:

For April Schedule and May Schedule,

• Student can appear in any one of the two schedules.
• The remotely proctored exam will be monitored live through various Artificial Intelligence tools and by the invigilators.
• There will be no option of test centre based exam in the above-mentioned Schedules.
• As a special gesture by the university, Refund Policy will also be relaxed for the applicants of the above-mentioned Schedule. Click here to know more.
• Subsequent Rounds after Round-I (as mentioned above) will be conducted, only if seats remain vacant.
• Seats falling vacant after the above-mentioned rounds will be filled on a first come first serve basis, subject to satisfying eligibility criteria as mentioned in Prospectus-2022.
• Applicants are strongly advised not to wait for the last dates as mentioned above and apply as well as book and appear for the exam at the earliest to avoid last month’s rush.
• This is the tentative schedule; any of the date(s) and other details as mentioned above is subject to change at the discretion of the University.
• No separate intimation or announcement to any applicant(s) will be given.
• Subsequent Phases of admission will be conducted if seats remain vacant.

Different Phases In The Scholarship Process

Application procedure to the students as per the LPU NEST is based on the four phases. The four phases are explained below.

Phase I

Students who apply for Phase 1 is known as the “Early Decision Benefit Phase”

“Early Decision Benefit Phase” is divided into two schedules.

Schedule I: There is an advantage for the students in this schedule that if they are not satisfied in their 1st attempt, they can go for the 2nd attempt. The best among the two will be taken into consideration for preparing the merit list. For the second chance, candidates have to fill the prescribed form but they will not be charged.

Schedule II:  From April 2022, the counselling and seat allotment will begin. Before this, the cut off will be released. Thus tell the students whether they have clear the LPU NEST phase I. Tentatively, the admission procedure as per Phase 1 will be over in May 2022. Thus those who will appear in phase I must get admission on time. No further process will take place as the Phase II Procedure will start.

Phase II

Students applying in phase II will not be getting the ”Early Decision Benefit”. This benefit actually shows the difference in amount. However, they will have an advantage over phase III candidates. There are two brackets of scholarship in this phase. Candidates who will clear the LPU NEST 2022 will get a higher scholarship than the students who will not appear. The top 30% of students who will clear the exam in Phase II will be given some financial aid. To claim financial aid, candidates have to take the admission on time i.e as prescribed by the University for Phase II.

Phase III

The application procedure will take place from May to June 2022. Applicants will be charged a fee for 2022. Phase III may be considered as the most important Phase because it is going to be the last chance to avail scholarship. This is on the basis of LPU NEST 2022, 10+2 marks, or on the performance of JEE (Main). Just like Phase II, it has also two brackets of scholarship. Top 30% in Phase III will get financial aid. The candidates can claim this aid when he/she will get admission in a limited period of time.

Phase IV

The process will start in June and the result will be declared in July. This is totally based on the availability of seats. This shows two different slots to take admission with or without the scholarship.

How To Apply For LPU NEST (B.Tech Programme)

There are two ways through which students can apply for the test. The Application Form LPU NEST 2022 is followed by the ways given below:

1. Purchasing LPUNEST (B.Tech.) Kit

Candidates may obtain LPUNEST (B.Tech.) Kit from University or any other prescribed place by paying cash or through DD. Demand Draft must be in favour of the “Lovely Professional University” payable at Jalandhar. The kit can also be purchased from the online site i.e Flipkart. After obtaining the LPUNEST (B.Tech.) Kit, candidates can submit the form in the following ways:

Manual – Fill the application form and paste the recent passport size photograph and sign it. Send it to the address mentioned in the KIT

Semi-Online Application – In case the applicant does not want to send the hard copy of the purchased application form:

• Fill the application form online on the site www.lpu.in
• Upload the scanned photograph and signature
• At the payment process, click the option for a unique OMR Code ( given on the OMR Sheet)
• Submit the application with full information, signature, photograph and OMR code
• Click on the “Submit” button

Take the print of it for further reference. And keep the application no., user id, and password safely to access the online slot management system.

2. Without purchasing LPUNEST (B.Tech.) Kit

Candidates can fill the form without purchasing the LPU NEST ( B.Tech) Kit. The following are the procedures they need to follow in order to fill the form.

Online Application With DD :

• Visit the official site of the University
• Look for the link in the home page for the LPU NEST Online
• Complete the application form with valid information
• Take the print of the application form
• Paste the passport size photograph and have the signature
• Enclose a DD must be in favour of “Lovely Professional University” payable at Jalandhar
• Put the Application form and DD in the proper envelope and send it to:

• Upload the photograph and signature
• Make an online payment for the application form
• Once done with the procedure take the print of it for further reference.

Eligibility Requirement For LPU NEST (B.Tech)

In order to fill the LPU NEST 2022, candidates must have the following eligibility. The eligibility requirement is as per the courses i.e B.Tech and B.Tech ( Hons) is mention below:

Basic Requirement: Candidates must uphold Indian Citizenship

B.Tech

Must have completed or appeared for the 12th Board with PCM or PCB as the main subject with 70% aggregate marks. This is as per the courses candidates want to opt-in B.Tech

B.Tech (Hons), Integrated B.Tech

Candidates must have the 80% aggregate marks with PCM or PCB. As per the course preference, PCM or PCB is there.

Syllabus and Exam Pattern LPU NEST (B.Tech Programme)

Candidates who are going to appear for the exam must be aware of the LPU NEST Syllabus 2022 for preparation. Basically, there are five subjects which are taken into consideration. As per the courses the candidates have to prepare. The subjects are Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology, and Chemistry. Thus as per the subject look into the exam pattern

Note: Candidates can opt for Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English OR Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English.

LPU NEST 2022 Admit Card

In order to appear for the exam, candidates must have the LPU NEST Admit Card 2022. It is the most essential document to carry. No one will be allowed to sit for the exam if they don’t have the hall ticket. There are three ways in which the candidates can have the hall ticket.

• Candidates who booked their test slot themselves.
• The admit card will be issued after the candidates book the slot through the online slot booking system.
• Candidates whose test slot is booked by the University.
• Once the University receives the application form, it will generate the hall ticket after the 48hrs. Admit card will be available online on the website.
• Candidates must log in by putting in the username and password to download the admit card.

Thus, through the above ways, one can have the admit card.
