Day Three Of Our Strike & The State Superintendent Of Public Instruction Intervenes
Update: Our school board and superintendent have declined Superintendent Thurmond’s invitation to meet up with and have built it crystal clear they have minor curiosity in bargaining in superior religion and in reopening our faculties.
After a third working day of picketing at our faculties, and then holding a significant protest and march in downtown Sacramento, State Superintendent of Public Instruction Tony Thurmond has termed for a negotiation session of all events (see video under). Assuming this takes place later currently, it will be the 1st time in quite a few yrs our district’s superintendent has in fact participated in a bargaining session. As a member of the bargaining workforce, I’m specially interested what transpires.
