Green Hills Area Education Agency chooses Plourde for top position | Education

Dr. Jason Plourde has been promoted to main administrator at Eco-friendly Hills Spot Training Agency, the Board of Administrators introduced Friday.

Plourde, who at the moment serves as govt director of Universal Products and services and Supports at the agency, was a person of 26 candidates and 3 finalists for the placement.

“The board is thrilled that Dr. Plourde will be continuing his do the job at Eco-friendly Hills Area Instruction Company,” Board President John Gambs mentioned in a push release from the agency. “We believe that the electrical power, enthusiasm, and educational encounters he delivers to the placement of main administrator will profit the many learners and families we serve.”

He will attempt to ensure Environmentally friendly Hills AEA sustains and nurtures a beneficial team culture with large-functioning teams who produce unparalleled expert services, guidance and advocacy on behalf of just about every youngster and school method, the press release stated.

Plourde has spent 28 decades in public training in southwest Iowa. His leadership roles include serving as a previous director of secondary universities and making administrator for elementary, center and high school degrees. He also served as a paraeducator and instructor in the Council Bluffs Group School District. Prior to operating for Council Bluffs Educational facilities, he was a special training teacher with Loess Hills AEA 13.

He is an alumnus of the University of Nebraska of Omaha and Creighton College, earning a diploma in K-8 education and learning with an emphasis in special schooling and innovative levels in preK-12 educational administration, management, and management. Above his profession, he has been honored with a number of awards, which includes The Milken Relatives Basis Countrywide Educator Award Recipient for Iowa (2008) and the Promising Qualified Distinguished Alumni Award, University of Nebraska at Omaha (2010).
