This activity delivers a action-by-move guideline for how to create an origami hexagon. It is linked to the James Webb House Telescope’s primary mirror which is composed of 18 tessellating hexagons. Pupils can do the job separately or in teams to fold the hexagons, then attach them with each other to build a representation of the telescope’s principal mirror. Down load the activity or follow the video clip tutorial. Simply click listed here for the entire classroom source.
