UB Graduate School of Education launching year-long residency program

AMHERST, N.Y. (WIVB) — The University at Buffalo is attempting to better prepare academics by giving them far more fingers-on experience during their masters application

Learners in UB’s Graduate University of Training are now ready to partake in a yr-extended residency method at a faculty in Western New York.

The aim is to enhance retention and reduce turnover of teachers.

UB has been piloting this plan with the Buffalo Community Faculties for the previous handful of several years with 70 pupils taking part in whole by the close of the forthcoming university calendar year.
